Can a nurse or doctor please tell me what the purpose of the prostate gland is?
My doctor told me that mine was very enlarged and growing into my bladder and giving me problems emptying my bladder. He wants to perform a TURP. Would laser surgery be better? Thanks.
You may have benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). My prostate got so enlarged that I had to wear a catheter for a month because my urethra stopped up!
